Plastics manufacturing, family know-how!
In 1956, after 8 years working with polyamide parts, Mr. Norbert Bülte decided to establish his own fasteners company.
He set up his office in the small town of Lüdinghausen in Germany. In collaboration with other companies in the sector, Mr. Bülte invented the Bülte polyamide locking/sealing washer.
As a fastener specialist, know-how is passed down from generation to generation
Repositioning and international development
After completing his studies as an industrial designer, Mr. Stefan Bülte, the son of the founder, joined the family business in 1979, with the stated aim of developing it.
In 1986, Stefan Bülte established Bülte Plastiques France in the Drôme region. He imported his German expertise while significantly expanding the range of plastic fasteners. He surrounded himself with a team of experts and succeeded in updating the product range. The ranges diversify and offer a multitude of products and materials. Bülte was then working with major worldwide industrial clients.
Expansion of the customer portfolio and modernisation of communication
In 2013, Fanny Bülte, the granddaughter and daughter of the founders, also joined the company with the firm intention of modernising working methods and improving processes while preserving the family heritage.
Following her business studies degree and time spent studying abroad – in Germany and Australia respectively -, Miss Bülte is expanding the customer portfolio for the company, which is continuing to develop its international business. She is also deploying her skills in several areas: from the digitalisation of processes (introduction of SAP) to the development of communication (redesign of the website and the style guide).
