Description
This flat hexagon nut made of high-quality nylon (PA) is an alternative to plastic nuts in accordance with ISO 4032. It is available with both metric standard thread and fine pitch thread and is suitable for all types of connections with fine pitch. The design is similar to a DIN 439 hexagon nut. The black colour gives it a neat finish. This hex flat nut is often used as a locking nut for a full size nut, or with another flat nut to prevent the fastening coming undone. Typically 1/3 to 1/2 the thickness of a full nut it takes up the minimum of space.
