The standard smooth cylindrical spacer is essentially used to separate two components, or can be used as bushings, rollers and glides. They also provide good electrical & heat insulation.

The anti-loss spacer, in addition to the functions mentioned above, is used in the preassembly of screws and components removing the risk of loss during assembly.
